The cost per day is based on the following pay structure:
5 days per week: $53 per day
4 days per week: $54 per day
3 days: $54 per day
2 days: $55 per day
1 day: $55 per day

Forest Hills Private School & Retreat Center is currently in the process of being validated to operate as an "uninspected private school" by the Ministry of Education and is to receive a Ministry BSID number this coming school year. It is expected that after September 2026, Forest Hills will be listed as a licensed private school in Ontario!

Yes. Families will register their children for the same day or days that they wish to attend each week. Registration will be by term and the selection of days can be renewed for Term 2.

When signing the parent agreement, families agree to a commitment per term. Term 1 will be from September to end of January, and Term 2 will be from February to June. In term 2, families may wish to change their schedule as needed. Forest Hills also has a flexible cancellation policy and requires a month’s notice if families wish to make changes to their weekly schedule.

As children spend most of their days outdoors, weather appropriate clothing and extra dry clothes are a must!
Seasonal clothes that we suggest:
Spring & Fall: hip-waders or tall boots and splash pants, with layers that can be taken off if needed.
Winter: a warm base layer, snowsuit, neck-warmer, hat, multiple pairs of mitts, wool socks and warm boots.

At this time, families are required to bring refillable water bottles and a healthy, packed lunch.
There will be opportunities for children to learn and work in the kitchen to make delicious foods! From time to time, they will also be able to enjoy these foods!

There is a 1:8 Guide to child ratio for children in the Sharps and Coopers (4-5 year olds).
There is a 1:10 Guide to child ratio for children in the Greys 6-13 year olds.
Volunteers who hold valid Vulnerable Sector Checks will also help to improve these ratios!
